During this program, CLDP staff and Angolan trainers traveled to Lubango and implemented modern case management techniques and random selection of judges in the Huila Provincial Court by training 17 court clerks and 2 judges. The training used skits, lectures and interactive group exercises to teach court clerks techniques designed to ensure random assignment of judges, ease in tracking cases, and continuous accountability for documents received. After Lubango, CLDP staff and the Angolan trainers traveled to Cabinda to evaluate the implementation of modern case management techniques and random selection of judges, following the introduction of these techniques at the Cabinda Provincial Court in January 2006.
