CLDP has been working with the Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA) to promote the concept of fair competition to Egyptian Ministries, local business organizations, and the general public. During the week of November 16, 2008 CLDP held a workshop in Cairo that explained the challenges and solutions to a broad group of stakeholders. The 150 attendees left with a better understanding of the role of the government in creating an enabling business environment that also protects consumers.
