Continuing its long-running SME business development program in Kyrgyzstan, CLDP, in conjunction with the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek, organized a workshop in Bishkek on international hotel management practices for hotel managers from the Issyk-Kul Region of Kyrgyzstan.  The workshop, which followed-up on CLDP's May study tour to the Republic of Georgia on hospitality industry development, was hosted and conducted by the management staff of the Hyatt Regency Bishkek.  As the only international hotel operating in Kyrgyzstan, Hyatt's management offered participants a unique insight into the management practices and quality control systems of one of the world's largest and most successful hotel companies.  The 17 Kyrgyzstani hotel managers received presentations from each of the Hyatt's departments, including sessions with the front office, human resources & training, customer services staff, IT, accounting, and others.
