Judicial workshop on Reorganizing SMEs under Bankruptcy Laws

-
In response to a request from the Tunisian Ministry of Justice, CLDP, in close cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Tunis, has developed a judicial capacity building program focused on the judicial reorganization of small business, which, though viable, experience financial difficulties. CLDP created a series of case studies and in January 2006, two U.S. bankruptcy judges traveled to Tunisia to share their expertise with their Tunisian colleagues (Judge Samuel Bufford from Los Angeles, who teaches a course at Harvard Law School on Comparative Bankruptcy Law; and, Judge Elisabeth Stong from New York, who is also the President of the Harvard Law School Alumni Association).
