CLDP, along with INSOL International and the World Bank Group, hosted the second Live Judicial Forum broadcast the next iteration of its live quarterly forums, providing a platform for the judiciary to discuss current issues facing courts and judges in insolvency cases. This quarter’s forum focused on the use of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms to resolve disputes between debtors and creditors in the insolvency context. The forum was led by Judge Martin Glenn, US Bankruptcy Court, SDNY and the Hon Sir Alastair Norris of the High Court of Justice in England. There were regional presenters from Bahrain, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia. The forum was exclusively for judges from the MENA region, specifically Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Tunisia, Morocco, Kuwait and the UAE.
