On April 16-17, CLDP, in partnership with the Moroccan Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Competition Counsel, and the General Treasury of the Kingdom, organized a workshop on best practices for detecting, investigating, sanctioning, and prosecuting anti-competitive behavior. The event was attended by an audience of judges and public prosecutors from around the country. Experts from the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice highlighted U.S. procedures on investigating and prosecuting bid-rigging while representatives from the Moroccan Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Treasury presented on recent legislation focused on the enforcement of competition laws in public contracts.
