On April 19, CLDP released the newest installment in their public-private partnerships (PPP) webinar series to participants in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. The webinar encompassed commercial contracts associated with developing a successful PPP project. More specifically, the webinar focused on how PPP contracts differ from traditional design-build contracts, how flow-down agreements achieve the objectives of PPPs, and the issues and challenges in PPP subcontract performance. The pre-recorded webinar was followed by a live Q&A session on April 29. This activity is part of a PPP-focused webinar series developed for Power Africa and the Indo-Pacific Strategy.
