On March 8, CLDP released a pre-recorded webinar on financing documents for a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) to participants in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. PPPs provide an innovative approach to developing major infrastructure projects across the globe; but before a PPP can be implemented, financing needs to be obtained. The webinar provided participants with an overview of the basic principles behind financing a PPP, as well as a survey of common finance documents including the purpose of each agreement, the necessary components, and the parties that will be involved in negotiating. The program included a pre-recorded webinar and a live Q&A session. This activity was part of a PPP-focused webinar series developed for Power Africa and the Indo-Pacific Strategy.
