On December 9, in order to assist the Saudi Arabia Bankruptcy Commission in developing best practices in administrative liquidation and trustee practices, CLDP and the Bankruptcy Commission, in collaboration with the U.S Department of Justice U.S. Trustees Program and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Puerto Rico, conducted a webinar regarding management by trustees in insolvency cases.  During the webinar Saudi Trustees learned how U.S. Trustees manage cases during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Saudi Trustees also learned U.S. bankruptcy judges’ expectations of documentation received from Trustees during bankruptcy cases. Improved bankruptcy law implementation improves opportunities for U.S. companies to invest and conduct business in Saudi Arabia, by securing business transactions and increasing return on investment.
