From March 8-10, CLDP, in partnership with the Sri Lanka International Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Center and the Sri Lanka Judges’ Institute, conducted a Judicial Exchange on Alternative Dispute Resolution. The program gathered judges from the High Courts of Sri Lanka to share best practices and overviews on the different types of alternative dispute resolution including arbitration, mediation, and investor-state dispute settlement. The Judicial Exchange created a venue for discussion of current developments and issues in international commercial arbitration and mediation by judges from Sri Lanka and other jurisdictions.
