As the capstone of a program launched two years ago, CLDP organized and sponsored two-day symposium held in Tunis entitled “Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Economic Development in MENA Countries” The symposium consisted of presentations and workshops led by U.S experts (among them a Nobel prize winner in Physics) and by colleagues from four Arab countries. The attendance was significant (120 participants on average each day). Thanks to the U.S. Embassy’s Public Affairs Office, the media coverage (TV and written press) was extensive.
