On March 15-18, 2022, CLDP, in coordination with Association ARBITRI, the University of Zenica and GIZ, held a three-day training on oral advocacy to prepare law students from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Kosovo, and the Southern Caucasus for the 29th Willem C. Vis Moot competition (Vis Moot) that will take place virtually in April 2022. CLDP’s training focused on topics that include how to deliver an argument: the importance of structure, time management and alternative arguments, and how to respond to arbitrators. On March 18, CLDP invited Vis Moot teams, attorneys, private sector, and government officials to attend a conference on The Intersection of International Arbitration and Sustainable Development.  The focus of the conference was on the intersections of Investment Arbitration and ESG.  The conference was followed by a networking event, sponsored by CLDP, GIZ and BiH American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham).  This allowed students to practice their networking skills and meet with local law firms and BiH companies.
