CLDP hosted a Laotian delegation in a series of PPP consultations and at the OECD Infrastructure Week in Paris. During the week, delegates from the newly mandated public-private partnership (PPP) unit engaged with French PPP organizations, infrastructure projects advisors, and private sector service providers to understand the key components of project financing, bid evaluation, risk management, and the social, economic, and environmental considerations in infrastructure project development. They also met with high-level investment and project planning officials and discussed the importance of incorporating sustainable practices in infrastructure projects. CLDP is supporting Laos to incorporate sustainability, best procurement practices and infrastructure contract structuring under the Infrastructure and Transaction and Assistance Network.
