On November 19 – 20, in collaboration with Morocco’s Centre Nationale de l’Environnement des Affaires, the Moroccan Ministry of Justice, and the Casablanca International Mediation and Arbitration Centre, CLDP organized a workshop on institutional arbitration: a key mechanism for resolving commercial disputes in a timely and efficient manner. The workshop was in the context of a new decree which aims to regulate the profession of arbiters and mediators in Morocco where lengthy dispute resolution is an impediment to doing business. Building the capacity of legal professionals in institutional arbitration will improve economic opportunities in the region by resolving commercial disputes in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
