Eric Wenz is an Attorney Advisor-International with the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) in the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Commerce where he works on programs related to procurement, competition, trade facilitation, and the rule of law in Georgia, Armenia, and the broader Caucasus region. Prior to joining CLDP, Mr. Wenz interned in the Department of State Office of Multilateral Nuclear and Security Affairs (MNSA) and the Department of Justice Office of International Affairs (OIA) and did immigration work for the International Rescue Committee in Baltimore.

Mr. Wenz received his Juris Doctor cum laude from the American University Washington College of Law, where he also served as Associate Executive Editor of the American University International Law Review. He received his Master of Arts in International Affairs from the American University School of International Service with a concentration in global governance, politics, and security. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and international studies from Elon University and is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
