CLDP organized a Workshop on Improving the Business Environment in Morocco through Interagency Coordination and Enhanced Project Managementin Rabat on November 9-10, 2015.
CLDP, in partnership with Kosovo Customs, conducted the first of a three-part series of workshops on Customs Classification and Valuation in Pristina, Kosovo from September 22-25, 2015.
In February 2016, CLDP organized a workshop in London, UK on exploration and production (EP) contracting for senior officials from Pakistans Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources (MPNR) and the Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd. (OGDCL).
On August 17-21, CLDPheld a workshop in Singapore for government officials, private-sector representatives, civil society organizations, and entrepreneurs from Kuwait and Bahrain.
On June 15, CLDP, at the behest of the U.S. Consulate in Basrah, led a meeting with the Governor of Basrah, Dr. Maged Al-Nasrawi, and 20 other Governorate officials to develop the next programmatic steps in implementing the recently signed Sister-City Agreement between Houston and Basra.
CLDP invited government officials, private sector representatives, civil society organizations, and entrepreneurs from Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain to a 5 day program focusing on arbitration and on company registration.
CLDP conducted Petroleum Accounting, Valuation and Revenue Management consultations for a six-member delegation from the Ministry of Mining of Mongolia (MOM), the Petroleum Authority of Mongolia (PAM) and the World Bank.
On August 9-13, CLDP, in close cooperation with USAID and Iraqs Ministry of Planning, led a Workshop on Drafting Effective Government Contracts for Iraqi officials.
On June 16-20 in New York, in cooperation with the Foreign Commercial Service, CLDP conducted a franchise program for a 20-member delegation of prospective franchise investors from Iraq.
