From March 14 to 25, 2012, CLDP hosted 10 technology transfer office directors representing eight Egyptian universities for a two-week consultation covering various parts of the unique U.S. ecosystem for fostering innovation. During the consultation the delegates attended the 2012 annual meeting of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) in Anaheim, California in aims to integrate the group into international networks to enhance the directors' marketing capabilities and to establish linkages between Egyptian and U.S. universities in science and innovation. The Egyptian delegation met with the AUTM President, Robin L. Rasor, and Executive Director, Vicki Loise, during the 2012 AUTM annual meeting.
