From May 26-31, CLDP hosted a delegation of eight Pakistani attorneys to the United States for advisory consultations on the development of a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) system in Pakistan. The delegates are part of a local team that is in the process of building Pakistan's first private CLE provider for practicing attorneys. During visits to Chicago and San Francisco, the team met with several major U.S. CLE providers, large U.S. law firms, U.S. law schools, and CLE regulatory bodies. The U.S. consultations were designed to inform the delegation's plans for CLE launch conference in Pakistan in the Fall of 2014.
