CLDP held a three-day Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Training and Competition in Mostar, BiH on February 17-19, 2017. The program focused on the third and final element of the Vis Moot preparatory process: oral advocacy. The training portion of the program, held at the University of Mostar, were led  by CLDP and BiH’s ARBITRI Association, and featured practice pleadings with arbitrators, video demonstrations, group discussions, and interactive practice and coaching sessions. Participants in the program included student Vis Moot teams from the University of Mostar, the University of Zenica, Central Europe University (CEU), and Saarlandes University. 

On February 19, the four universities competed in a Pre Moot at NSoft, a  technology company based in Mostar, BiH. The students  pleaded in front of professional arbitrators, advisors, and the NSoft legal team and CEO. The program was followed by a professional networking event for the students hosted by NSoft to encourage student recruitment.

Through this program the knowledge of BiH law students and university faculty of international commercial law and arbitration and will  develop institutionalized Vis Moot programs in universities throughout BiH.
