On December 12-13, CLDP in close cooperation with the Saudi Arabia Capital Markets Authority and the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration, conducted two one-day workshops in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia regarding alternative dispute resolution in the financial industry.  Enlisting the expertise of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), CLDP presented to over 200 capital markets regulators regarding best practices in alternative dispute resolution in the financial industry.  Topics included Capital Market Dispute Procedures, Qualifications of Financial Sector Mediators and Arbitrators, Continuing Education for Regulators, and Case Administration.  This program will result in increasing the understanding of alternative dispute resolution in the financial industry, ensuring greater reliability of financial contract enforcement in Saudi Arabia.
