On March 27-28, 2019, CLDP launched an 18-month initiative to support the development of Ethiopia’s newly established Public Private Partnership (PPP) office. The creation of the PPP office came as a result of Ethiopia’s February 2018 adoption of the landmark PPP law. The newly adopted law seeks to encourage and streamline private investment in the country’s growing infrastructure sector. CLDP utilized the highly-respected APMG PPP Certification Program to distill globally agreed-upon definitions, concepts, and best practices on PPPs and will end with the PPP office participants earning the Certified PPP Professional (CP3P) credential.
