Kuwait – Arbitration Law Legislative Drafting Consultations

CLDP, in close collaboration with the Kuwait Commercial Arbitration Center, conducted legislative drafting consultations for lawmakers in Kuwait to finalize a new Arbitration Law for Kuwait. Independent international arbitration law experts and representatives from the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) advised the Kuwaiti lawmakers regarding how their new arbitration draft law can be best drafted in the Kuwaiti context to be consistent with the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration.
