On April 13-15, 2021, CLDP organized the second virtual meeting of the WEE Working Group and invited private sector women entrepreneurs from the five Central Asian countries. Experts for the 3-day virtual program included U.S. government officials, international NGOs, American and local companies. The meeting focused on: (1) Covid-19’s impact on women-owned small businesses globally; (2) the benefits of digital commerce platforms during the Covid-19 crisis; and (3) further development of a Central Asia Regional Business Agenda (RBA), including recommendations to address legislative gaps and industry policy that could impact women-owned businesses.
