CLDP in close collaboration with the Kuwait Supreme Council for Planning and Development (SCPD) and the Kuwait Commercial Arbitration Center (KCAC) will conduct a workshop for Kuwaiti government officials and lawyers regarding mediation with a focus on the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Meditation (also known as the Singapore Convention on Mediation). This program will raise awareness for Kuwait to become a signatory to the Singapore Convention on Mediation and increase the opportunity for companies looking to mediation as a recourse to resolve commercial disputes in Kuwait.
