On April 27 and 29, CLDP, in cooperation with USAID/Peru, conducted a virtual workshop for Peru's Supervisory Body for State Contracting (OSCE) on international best practices in preparing for and effectively implementing new professionalization programs. OSCE will be launching this week a pilot program to improve their model for training and certification of the procurement workforce and has requested CLDP’s support in the implementation of the pilot. The workshops focused on best practices to improve internal institutional frameworks, prepare for the challenges of changing internal roles and responsibilities, and manage learning projects. This session is part of a multi-phase effort to support Peru’s procurement professionalization efforts, including a series of virtual mentorships and trainings of trainers for procurement instructors.
