On December 8, CLDP, in partnership with Gridworks and Power Africa, held a virtual boardroom discussion for energy professionals from across sub-Saharan Africa to discuss Understanding Power Transmission Financing. The discussion, which included insights from the authors of the handbook, explored options for accessing finance and creating opportunities for private participation in the development of transmission infrastructure to meet energy access and carbon reduction goals in Africa. The session was attended by energy professionals around the world with an acute focus on developing markets in sub-Saharan Africa.
