Egypt: CLDP Hosts Integrating Sustainable Public Procurement Practices in Egypt

On December 13 - 14, CLDP, in cooperation with GAGS, will host a workshop on "Sustainable Public Procurement: Egypt's Path to a Greener Economy", that supports the Government of Egypt consider developing sustainable public procurement plans, policies, and initiatives.

The workshop will be a preliminary introduction to SPP to GAGS, which is the statutory authority that oversees and guides Egypt's government procurement practices. CLDP, through funding provided by USAID, will cooperate with GAGS to implement programs support SPP policy development, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement.
