Peru: CLDP Holds Workshop on Emergency Procurement

On August 25, CLDP, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), hosted a workshop on emergency procurement for government officials from three Peruvian agencies. General Services Administration experts conducted an in-depth review of emergency procurement mechanisms that could significantly improve Peru’s ability to deliver critical supplies and services to populations affected by natural disasters. This programming will help improve disaster response procurement in preparation for El Niño weather patterns.
