CLDP and the Competition Protection Commission of Armenia (CPC) conducted a two-day workshop, held June 22-23, 2023, on digital markets regulation and enforcement. CLDP convened experts from DOJ Antitrust Division and the Lithuania Competition Council to lead sessions focused on market power, concentration, the role of gatekeepers in digital markets, and toolkits for enforcement under both the EU and US systems. CLDP and program experts also led CPC officials through a case simulation of existing Armenian competition issues in digital taxi applications, providing an opportunity for CPC officials to work through enforcement decisions under the guidance of EU and US competition officials.
