From May 13-15, CLDP in partnership with The International ADR Center, (The CCC-ICLP International ADR Center) Sri Lanka conducted a Regional ADR Symposium in Colombo, Sri Lanka, for local practitioners, commercial lawyers, government attorneys, and students. The symposium brought together representatives from 10 different regional ADR institutions to foster continued cooperation and coordination between these institutions.

These representatives, as well as independent experts and Sri Lankan judges, presented on ADR topics including, inter alia, drafting an arbitration agreement, enforcement of awards, the role of the judiciary, life cycle of an arbitration, mediation, investor-state dispute settlement, third-party funding, and calculating damages over the course of three days.
