On May 29-30, CLDP, a workshop exchange focused on FIDIC Contracts and Disputes for participants from the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure. The Fédération Internationale Des Ingénieurs-Conseils (FIDIC) produces standard-form contracts that are widely used in the construction and engineering industry for international projects. The workshop included sessions on FIDIC contract drafting, risk allocation, termination, claims management, and disputes under FIDIC. CLDP’s programming with the Maldives seeks to encourage infrastructure development and foster opportunities for foreign direct investment.
