Anna Sherman (she/her) is an International Program Specialist on the Energy Transition team at the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP).

Prior to joining CLDP, Anna worked in security cooperation at the Department of Defense's National Defense University, managing alumni outreach, enrollment, and orientation tour programs for international executive-level security professionals. She also has experience in decarbonization strategy, circular economy projects, due diligence consulting, and politics.

Anna received her M.A. in Climate & Society Studies from Columbia University, focusing on understanding the links between climate science and decarbonization in the public and private sectors. She also earned her B.A. in International Relations, cum laude, with a minor in Business from Brandeis University where she completed a Boren Scholarship in China. Anna continues to be a devoted fan of her native NYC, enjoys cooking (and eating), and spending time outdoors.
