On January 28-30, CLDP will facilitate a targeted procurement workshop in Warsaw, Poland for delegations from Albania and Kosovo to support the development of national-security safeguards in procurement of strategic sectors, including information and communications technology (ICT) and energy. The program will focus on enhancing high-risk vendor screening and supply-chain due diligence practices, as well as improving the drafting of technical specifications that strengthen competition, reduce vulnerabilities, and limit the penetration of high-risk foreign technologies, particularly from Chinese state-linked suppliers. Through peer-to-peer exchanges with Polish counterparts and engagement with U.S. and EU experts, participants will gain practical tools and tailored recommendations to advance secure, transparent, and EU-aligned procurement systems in their respective countries.
