Mario Erpinar is an Attorney-Advisor (International) on the Latin America and the Caribbean team at the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP). Mario’s professional background includes positions at the Department of Justice, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the Center for International Private Enterprise, where he demonstrated exceptional skills and leadership in areas of law and U.S. foreign policy. Mario’s experience in Latin America and the Caribbean includes international development work in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic.

Mario received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School with a concentration in National Security and Foreign Relations Law. Mario also holds a B.A. in Diplomacy and World Affairs with minors in Linguistics and Group Languages from Occidental College. He is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.

Mario is a native Spanish speaker and has working proficiency in Turkish and French.
