CLDP Holds One-Day Workshop on the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act for U.S. SMEs Doing Business Abroad

The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), through CLDP, held a one-day workshop in Washington D.C. on September 26, 2007. Participants from small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) from across the U.S. gained an understanding of the importance of anti-corruption programs and compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) when doing business overseas. Participants also heard from fellow companies about their own anti-corruption programs and lessons learned.
