On February 27 to March 1, CLDP virtually participated in the Nepal Bar Association’s 15th National Conference of Lawyers. The conference gathered over 2,500 lawyers, judges, and other dignitaries in Kathmandu under the theme of Rule of Law and Constitutional Supremacy. CLDP’s Chief Counsel delivered remarks during the opening ceremony of the conference. On February 28, CLDP led a hybrid plenary session on Economic Development and Commercial Law and delivered a presentation on Public Procurement, Good Governance, and the Lawyer’s Role. Following this conference, CLDP will continue to collaborate with the Nepal Bar Association on programs related to infrastructure development.
