On March 23, CLDP in collaboration with the Bahrain Judicial & Legal Studies Institute (JLSI), U.S Department of Justice U.S. Trustees Program, and Fox Swibel Levin & Carroll LLP, conducted a webinar regarding best practices for trustees in insolvency cases. Participant Bahrain Trustees learned how U.S. Trustees manage bankruptcy cases in the U.S. The program will include sample bankruptcy scenarios designed to teach Trustees in Bahrain how to make decisions based on best practice in bankruptcy litigation. Effective implementation of Bahrain’s new insolvency law will ensure foreign investment in Bahrain is protected, including US investment in Bahrain in the form of business collaboration.
