CLDP has partnered with the US General Services Administration (GSA) and the US Small Business Association (SBA) in order to provide guidance to the Bahrain Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism (MOICT) regarding developing a subcontracting database that would facilitate large companies and SMEs in contracting together for Bahrain government tenders. On February 16, 2021, GSA and SBA executives presented a two-part webinar on public procurement subcontracting database development and implementation.  Part I of the webinar presented by the GSA addressed the technology solutions required to launch a public procurement subcontracting database.  Part II of the program presented by the SBA addressed implementation of an adequate subcontracting database.
