Bangladesh: Mediation Workshop

Improvements to the legal framework for commercial #mediation make the country more attractive to foreign investors as it indicates efficient dispute resolution without the risk of local courts.

On July 17, CLDP and the Bangladesh International Commercial Arbitration Centre (BIAC) conducted a workshop on Mediation for individuals from the public and private sector in Dhaka. The workshop focused on mediation rules and guidelines, procedure, practice in Bangladesh, and investor-state disputes.
