From June 10-13, 2025, CLDP, in partnership with Wardynski and Partners, held the third iteration of the Europe Regional Working Group on Public Procurement and Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) in Warsaw, Poland. Through the working group, participants from 12 European countries met and discussed best practices in public procurement and PPPs, with a specific emphasis on the infrastructure sector. After initial presentations from each new member addressing the landscape for public procurement and PPPs in their respective countries, the group then took a deep dive into project finance, using case studies of real PPP projects as examples to demonstrate best practices and lessons learned. Working group members will leave the meeting with next steps towards the development of a regional plan for bolstering more effective and transparent procurement systems across the region.
