CLDP, in partnership with Kosovo Customs, conducted the first of a three-part series of workshops on Customs Classification and Valuation in Pristina, Kosovo from September 22-25, 2015. The workshop, attended by 25 customs officials, focused on selected areas of classification and valuation deemed as priorities by Kosovo Customs. It included presentations and interactive exercises led by current and former officers from US Customs and Border Protection. Ensuring a fair, transparent, and harmonized customs valuation and classification process in Kosovo will contribute to creating a business environment conducive to foreign direct investment.
