CLDP co-hosted a Workshop on Facilitating the Export of Handicrafts in Rabat, Morocco from March 21-22, 2017, in coordination with Morocco's Maison de l'Artisan. The workshop gathered stakeholders in the handicraft sector, including artisans, artisan cooperatives, and government representatives, for training on export methods and authorization procedures for artisanal products. 

The workshop is part of a multi-year CLDP effort to promote the export of Moroccan handicrafts, including to the United States, in order to promote entrepreneurship, employment, and small business growth. The program is funded by the Middle East Partnership Initiative of the U.S. Department of State.
