CLDP organized a North Africa Regional Workshop on University-Industry Relations in Encouraging Technology Transfer from February 7-9, 2018 at the University of Mohamed V Rabat, in Morocco. Technology transfer professionals, government officials, and university representatives from Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia joined the program, which will focus on ways universities, the private sector, and governments can together build innovation ecosystems that benefit students, researchers, companies, and investors. Experts from the University of California Berkeley, University of Algarve (Portugal), and Andalusia Technopark (Spain), served as expert-advisors for the program. This program is funded by the Middle East Partnership Initiative of the U.S. Department of Commerce and is part of CLDP's ongoing work to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship in North Africa.
