In order to assist Oman's development of commercial law consistent with international standards, CLDP met with Information Technology Authority (ITA) officials in Muscat, Oman to plan programming that would educate the private sector regarding the new E-Transaction Law in the country. CLDP has begun programming to enhance the e-platform in Oman including educating stakeholders regarding e-signature, certification, privacy information, e-payment, and cyber crime. Officials are also developing a question-and-answer guide for e-commerce businesses seeking to apply the new E-Transaction Law.
