CLDP provides additional assistance to the Qatar Ministry of Economy and Commerce as well as the New Commercial Code Committee in Qatar to continue to assist Qatar in revising its commercial code to comply with international standards. In the area of company and electronic commerce laws, CLDP intends to introduce Bahrain examples to assist in the development of laws in Qatar that comply with international commercial law standards. CLDP intends that the revision of company laws in the Middle East, using models such as from Bahrain, will not only support international standards, but will also have the benefit of growing SMEs in the Middle East.
