Bahrain Innovation and Technology Center Capacity Building Training

December 12, 2019

On December 12, in Manama, Bahrain, CLDP held a workshop focused on technology transfer for representatives from government, academia, and the startup community. The workshop included an intellectual property exercise as well as a negotiation exercise of a technology license based on a case study, both of which were created by CLDP. In order to diversify its economy and to support an innovation ecosystem, the Kingdom of Bahrain has recently created a virtual Innovation and Technology Center. This center, accessible online, will put developers of innovative technologies (academia, research teams, or startups) in contact with key Bahrain government agencies that have a mandate to help develop an innovation ecosystem.
