From September 13-15, 2024, CLDP held a Summer Course on International Commercial Arbitration in Kraków, Poland, hosted by Jagiellonian University. The course gathered 58 participants from Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, and Lithuania/Belarus, representing a mix of law students and legal professionals. Led by experts from White & Case LLP, Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan, Kubas Kos Galkowski, Queritius, and the Eastern & Central Europe Vis Alumni Network, the sessions covered the key principles of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), focusing on arbitration procedures, legal instruments, and their role in the Willem C. Vis Moot. This event supported CLDP’s mission of enhancing the environment for ADR in Eastern Europe through education for future legal practitioners.
