From February 16 – 20, 2024, CLDP, in partnership with European Humanities University (EHU), conducted the 1st Annual EHU Pre-Moot and CLDP Training Course in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Pre-Moot is an annual interactive training program focused on international commercial arbitration geared toward law students from under-represented markets and countries. This year, the Pre-Moot brought together 60 students and faculty from 10 universities from Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova and Ukraine, and international experts from Stockholm University and firms such as White & Case LLC and Sorainen. CLDP’s work on the Vis Moot serves to prepare a cadre of ADR practitioners and promote a culture of arbitration, thereby improving contract enforcement and facilitating increased investment in Eastern Europe and around the world.
