On March 24-26, CLDP, in partnership with the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration and the University of Alexandria, College of Law, hosted the 2nd Annual National Arbitration Vis Pre-Moot & Conference with over 30 law students and lawyers from the region. The event was a two-day competition for Egyptian law school teams registered to compete in the Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and provided a national platform for future and current arbitration practitioners to advance the practice of international commercial arbitration. The event replicates CLDP program goals of the Vis Pre-Moot program, aiming to improve the practice of international commercial arbitration and develop the capacity alternative dispute resolution mechanisms abroad.
