CLDP, in collaboration with UNCITRAL and the University of Pittsburgh's Center for International Legal Education (CILE), supported over 20 teams to compete in the 29th Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Moot in Vienna and in the 18th Vis East Moot in April 2021.

The Vis Moot is the most prestigious international moot on commercial arbitration where over 400 teams from around 100 countries compete on oral and written advocacy. The Vis Moot experience helps equip the participating students with the skills necessary to handle commercial business disputes and bolsters the rule of law in their respective countries. CLDP provides training in several phases to the teams from emerging markets, aiming at improving contract enforcement mechanisms through the development of efficient ADR practice by supporting their participation to the Vis Moot competition.
